World Rivers Day is celebrated on the last day of September, every year. RJ Vijaya and Venkatesh, spoke to Amoghavarsha, a storyteller, wildlife photographer and film maker from Bangalore, India, about “Kali- The film”, he directed.
The movie traces the epic journey that the 100 year old Janaki and her grandson trek to the source of the Kalinadi ( Kali River), so that they can pay their tributes to the river. An ancient tradtion that they have been judiciously following at this small hamlet called Patagudi
