In this episode of Active Cooking, Pongudi is with us to demonstrate how to prepare Arve Chilkre Soppu Palya/Curry. Pongudi works as part of the housekeeping staff at an establishment and is the mother of two children. She loves cooking and has made it a ritual of cooking special dishes on Sundays. “This dish is really good for people who are suffering from low BP levels.”

Ingredients:
Seasoning items
Arve Chilkre Soppu
Onion
Garlic
Salt to taste
Oil
First, boil the soppu.
In a pan, fry the onion and garlic in oil along with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and other seasoning items. Keep frying till the onion turns brown in colour. Add salt according to taste.
Add the boiled soppu to the mix and stir.
The dish is now ready! This tastes best with white rice, chappati, or ragi mudde.
