Ramya is a homemaker who comes from a joint family composed of 13 members. Her favourite pursuit in life is experimenting with different styles of foods and cuisines. When Averakai season comes by, she, of course, starts dishing out Averakai specials. One of them is the Avarekai Vada.
In this episode, however, she demonstrates the preparation of Rave Rotti to RJ Vijaya.
First, mix all the ingredients and grind to a paste.
Take a bit of the dough and carefully pat it down on to a warm tava using your fingers. Use a bit of oil and water to lubricate the process. Make sure to roast it only on one side.
A hot and spicy rotti is now ready!
You can consume these rottis with cheese as it makes for a quirky combination! Or else, it can be consumed with some good old chutney, too!
