In partnership with Hasirudala and Buguri Community Libraries, Radio Active CR 90.4 MHz is observing Read Aloud Festival 2020 all through the month of February. The activities under the fest will include school-based read aloud sessions, social media campaigns, and an all-day get-together featuring read alouds and other group activities. In this compilation post, we round up a few of the school sessions that were conducted in the city.
A Read Aloud session was organised for children at BE Best School Laggere as part of the Read Aloud Festival 2020. The story titled ‘Endu Naguviralilla’ was read aloud by RJ Vijaya for children of standard IV. In total, 56 children participated in the session.
Another Read Aloud session was organised for children at Aniketana Kishore Kendra High School, Laggere as part of the Read Aloud Festival 2020. The story titled ‘Kasada Rashi’ was read aloud by RJ Manjula for children of standard V and VI. In total, 60 children participated in the session.

Children at Laggere Government School participated in the Read Aloud Festival 2020. The story titled ‘Endu Naguviralilla’ was read aloud by RJ Usha for children of standard IV. In total, 60 children participated in the session.

A Read Aloud session was organised for children at Siri Higher School Laggere as part of the Read Aloud Festival 2020. The story titled ‘Nandini Yallidale’ was read aloud by RJ Asha for children of standard IV. In total, 50 children participated in the session.
A Read Aloud session was organised for children at St Mary’s School as part of the Read Aloud Festival 2020. The story titled ‘Putani painters’ & ‘Hakkiya kokku’ was read aloud by Divya Shree for children of standard IV and V. In total, 100 children participated in the session.
